Linking Duqm to the different world countries
Duqm Airport, which started operating in 2014, substantially supports SEZD growth and is one of the main gateways connecting Duqm with the different countries worldwide.
The airport consists of the passenger terminal, which has an estimated capacity of half a million passengers annually with future scalability to two million passengers annually, and the air freight building, which has a capacity of (25 thousand) tons annually with future scalability according to demand and need. The airport also has a runway of (4 km) in length and a width of (75 m) with connecting corridors and parking for four planes, including the Airbus A380. The new passenger terminal started operation in 2018.
